1984 brought us many fine things but This is Spinal Tap surely ranks among the finest. Its genuine charm and affection for the subject matter is a joy to behold even as they exploit with subtle wit every code and convention the documentary genre and the ’80s heavy Rock scene has to offer.
Gordy, of course, hadn’t seen it. Surely he, being a Hard Rock fan, would love it…..?
